At a construction site, one of the workers is usinga table saw. As he is trying to hurry to finish up for the day, hepushes the last board through without realizing he’s too close tothe blade. Suddenly he realizes that the top of his left thumb hasbeen sawed off. Stumbling back from the saw, he trips and fallsinto some other equipment, injuring himself further. He now alsohas a large bleeding laceration on his right forearm (4″ long,about 2″ deep). There are several other workers present and mobilephone service is available in this area. There is a small, basicfirst aid kit with minimal suppliesavailable.
