Rad52 protein, which is important for DSB repair and homologous
recombination in many eukaryotes, was added to linear DNA
internally labeled with 32P (Figure 3 attached pdf). The
DNA bound with saturating amounts of hRad52 or not was treated with
an exonuclease or an endonuclease. DNA degradation is monitored by
the production of 32P-labeled DNA fragments that are
soluble in 10% trichloroacetic acid.
