I would like to know if this analysis is acceptable andmakes sense for my nursing care plane on impaired tissueintegrity?
Second top priority: Impaired tissue integrityr/t poor circulation s/t heart disease.
Analysis :Oxygen-rich blood plays a vital rolein our immune system’s role in tissue integrity. The heart andvascular system are essential for delivering blood to injuredtissue. When heart disease is present the vessels begin to narrowand blood flow decreases in turn limiting the available amount ofoxygen in our plasma. Poor circulation is caused by these narrowingvessels. Poor circulation is an inadequate blood flow to aparticular area of the body all the way to the capillaries, resulting in a lower level of oxygen being delivered to that area. Also, poor circulation decreases the normal strength, elasticity, and flexibility of the skin. Once the skin is affected, it becomesmore prone to breaks or cracks that can allow bacteria to enter andfurther break down the infected tissue. The lack of oxygenatedblood to the tissue means that immune system cells that are sentfight the infection and start repairing the affected tissue aremissing or present in smaller than effective numbers thatultimately results in impaired tissue integrity.
