He also suffers from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a type of obstructive lung disease characterised by long-term breathing problems and poor airflow. The main symptoms include shortness of breath and cough with sputum production and requires inhalers regularly for his dyspnea. He has often said to the nurse that he has had enough”. When he develops a chest infection the family insist that he be transferred to an acute facility for full active treatment. Mr. Samson said to you he does not want to go to hospital, as he cannot cope with it any longer.
