A 37-year-old G2P1 female who is 38 weeks gestation come to the labor and delivery at hospital for a scheduled c-section delivery. This is her second c-section. C-section was scheduled early because she has chronic hypertension. She has a history of general anxiety disorder. Blood test was done, and the results were in normal range. She is receiving spinal anesthesia for c-section and is ready for the delivery Nursing Diagnosis #1 Anxiety related to situational crisis as evidenced by increased tension and restlessness. Nursing Diagnosis #2 Deficient knowledge related to lack of information as evidenced by request for information.
