5.Explain how you would deal with the following ethical issues. Identify one ethical principle that you have used in your decision making for each scenario. (Do not use the same principle more than twice) a) Staff are laughing at a client who likes to wear bright red lipstick and blue eye shadow. b) A staff member tells a client’s wife that her husband has been holding hands with a female client. c) One of your colleagues is gay and he asks the staff not to tell the clients. You find out that Mr Brown is telling everyone he meets that the staff member is gay. d) You have run out of money and you can’t afford to buy food for your children’s evening meal. You are tempted to tell Mrs Smith as she has lots of money and she likes it when you and your children visit her sometimes at the end of your shift. e) A care worker has been instantly dismissed for stealing money. There is no evidence apart from a report by a colleague who doesn’t like that person. The care worker tells you he didn’t steal anyone’s money. f. Your babysitter is sick and you can’t find anyone to look after your children. The shift is already one carer short for the day.
