Situation 2 A problem we often encounter is illegal aliens. In our area, many are industrial workers or food-service workers. We do not have migrants who work in agriculture. I guess we should pick up the telephone and call the INS, but we do not. It comes up when they want benefits and needs a Social Security number. There is a black market in Social Security numbers. We do not advocate that on the other hand, though, if they have a Social Security number and documentation, we trust it is correct. What steps would you take to resolve this situation?
