Extra Credit Case Study (5 points) Zoey A. is a 26-year-old female that has been admitted to the hospital for a possible cystic fibrosis exacerbation. On examination you find a thin, Caucasian woman with accessory muscle use and mild increased work of breathing. She can converse but must stop every other sentence to catch her breath. She has a frequent productive cough. Breath sounds are diffuse inspiratory and expiratory crackles with expiratory wheezing throughout. Her vital signs are as follows: Temp: 39 degrees Celsius, HR: 71 bpm, RR 28, SpO2 89% on RA Zoey is waiting for a bed at a different hospital that specializes in CF. The attending physician is asking for your recommendations for managing this patient from a respiratory standpoint.
