10 The parents of a 10-day-old infant bring the newborn to the pediatrician’s office to evalu- ate her slow feeding problems. When the infant was born, the umbilical cord was found loosely wrapped around the newborn’s neck. It was quickly removed by the obstetrician, and the infant was observed for respiratory and other difficulties.
