A cohort study of bad vision and fall injuries among the elderly was started in 2017. Researchers recruited people with no history of fall injuries. At the start of the study, 400 people aged 70+ had bad vision. Another 400 people 70+ had good vision. Over a one-year period, 80 elderly with bad vision incurred fall injuries and 20 elderly with good vision had injuries resulting from falls. (Use a base of 100.) Calculate the risk ratio for fall injuries in the elderly with bad vision compared to fall injuries in those with good vision: What percentage of fall injuries in the elderly among those with bad vision would be prevented if they did not have bad vision? What percent of the falls in the total population of the elderly was due to bad vision?
