Instructions: Each student will prepare a short 5- to 10-minute pharmacology commercial; this could be a recorded commercial, a PowerPoint presentation (with audio…see the first bullet point under “Ability to clearly articulate information” in the rubric below), or you can use some other form of technology; be creative for this commercial! When developing your commercial, ask yourself what information is important to highlight about the featured medication? Think about different medication commercials that grabbed your attention-what was it about those commercials that got you interested? Be sure you are including all required information, per the rubric. Your commercial needs to be uploaded into the discussion board and each student is required to comment on at least two other commercials: comments must be substantial and not just a word or two. Ask a question or offer additional information that is relevant to the commercial you are commenting on. Also, if somebody asks you a question about your commercial, please answer them. You must submit your commercial to the D2L dropbox for grading in addition to uploading it to the discussion board.
