My family and I haven’t done a whole lot to prepare for anemergency, in the sense of it being large scale. We have preparedfor household things such as fires, tornados, or intruders. I thinkit would be interesting to talk to my siblings about what theythink we should do or change. Ever since the first round of toiletpaper drought, they think we always have to have plenty of toiletpaper. My parents even talked to us about what we should do if celltowers go down, just to be on the safe side. I think in today’s dayand age, the power going out is something that a lot of peopledon’t really know how to handle. Sure, there are generators to getthe power back up and running, but there are so many people whorely so heavily on power and technology, that even a few minutes oftime without power can be detrimental. I don’t personally rememberthe blackout of 2003 but when I looked it up, I saw that it startedin Ohio, and I found that to be kind of funny since that is wherewe are.
