different understanding of what caring is and these views areformed by
socio-cultural norms and personal experiences. In comparison,Nursing
professionals in Australia use Nursing and Midwifery Board ofAustralia’s
(NMBA) professional standards, code of conduct and ethicalstandards as
consensus statements to inform their understanding of caringin Nursing.
