Quantitative/Real-tine PCR…can someone explain a part of this to
me? “Rn is the fluorescence of the reporter dye divided by the
fluorescence of a passive reference dye. Specific gene is quantized
relatively to another constitutively expressed gene. ” What does
that mean? I understand what it means literally, but what is the
concept of quantizing a specific gene relative to another
constitutively expressed gene? What does that tell, and why? Please
explain it for me in detail because I am really confused and
probably also forgot a bit of conventional PCR. Thanks!
