We performed a Rflp and gel electrophoresis. Classmates and I
were Mitochondrial DNA was used and chimpanzee as an out group. I’m
so confused as to how i’m supposed to answer the following: Start
from the beginning explaining what you did and why and what the
result was for each step of the project. You are not repeating the
methods, just stating which method was done, why and then the
result. Sample results for gel figures would include, for example,
if a band was seen and if so, what size. Include figures. Figures
must be labeled and have titles. Explain what your results mean;
interpret the results For example, what does the band(s) on the gel
represent? What do the number of bands/different size bands mean?
Was your sequencing successful? How do the students compare to one
another? Compare RFLP versus sequencing results. Should also
include a BRIEF explanation of possible errors (but only if you
think there were some!)
